Maggie Grasso

Maggie Grasso is a seasoned civil and criminal litigator, with over 25 years of courtroom experience. Maggie is a true Philadelphian who grew up around the law. She is daughter of a Philadelphia Police Officer, who retired as a Chief Inspector.

Maggie is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York State Courts and is admitted to Federal Court in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware.

Criminal Practice

Maggie’s current criminal practice focuses largely on federal court matters, but she also represents clients in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, Bucks and Chester counties.

She has defended clients charged with crimes ranging from DUI to RICO Conspiracy. She has defended clients charged with murder, drug possession and distribution, rape, mail fraud, wire fraud, bank fraud, healthcare fraud, preparation of false tax returns, tax evasion, conspiracy to defraud the U.S., aggravated identity theft, passing counterfeit currency, robbery, kidnapping and hate crimes.

Her criminal jury trial experience includes a nearly four month-long jury trial in federal court representing a client charged with RICO conspiracy and a nearly 5 week-long trial defending a client charged with murder in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, conspiracy and kidnapping. She has won acquittals on behalf of many of her clients and successfully negotiated pleas resulting in the dismissal of charges, dropping of mandatory sentences and significantly reduced sentences.

Civil Practice

Maggie’s civil litigation experience includes settlement, arbitration and trials of automobile, premises liability and civil rights matters. She has litigated hundreds of personal injury matters and negotiated countless settlements on behalf of her clients.

She has experience in §1983 litigation including police misconduct and prisoner’s rights litigation.

The victories she has won for her clients run the gamut from countless awards in limited tort automobile accident cases to a $750,000 settlement in a motorcycle accident case, to negotiating a multi-million-dollar settlement, after a jury selection, in complex §1983 civil rights/medical malpractice claim in which the client was rendered a quadriplegic as a result of corrections officers’ and a doctor’s deliberate indifference to his serious medical needs.

Maggie prides herself of providing all of her clients with individualized attention. She answers her clients phone calls and text messages at all hours of the day.
